Formac was the preferential partner of a leading company dedicated to the recovery and transformationof urban waste. Our customer begins with sorted urban waste collection and prepares it through washing and selection cycles for new life.
Formac intervened in this phase of the production cycle by producing a compound for injection moulding that complies with the regulations on seating at sports facilities, schools and street furniture. Our compound is characterised by excellent self-extinguishing properties, covering colour, less bothersome odours developing during the heating phase of the material and it is suitable for outdoor applications, being resistantboth to ultraviolet rays and to atmospheric agents. Formac is proud to be an active part of a circular economy chain and to contribute to giving new target uses to materials that are theoretically at the end of their life.
