Study aimed at users of antibacterial plastic polymers intended for the production of professional tools for medical practices. The customer’s specification was to have a moulding compound compliant with standard ISO 22196: 2011.
Formac produced a material that slashes over 99% the bacterial load of the required strains such as: Escherichia Coli ATCC 25922, Candida Albicans ATCC 10231, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 13388, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442, Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 4352, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538.
Formac also took care of all the analysis and approval activities of the polymer, providing its customer with a turnkey service.
