Study, development and testing of new polymer for the realisation of automotive components
The project aims to design a new plastic material to be used for the production of components dedicated to car interiors that guarantees sustainability, resistance and aesthetics.
Formac worked as a partner in the supply chain of a leading car manufacturer to industrialise a new polymer that allows technological advancement by replacing synthetic fibres with natural fibres, guaranteeing a drastic reductionof the polluting emissions both for the production processes that they are obtained through and for the reduced weight through a new design of the components.
