Horse Riding Saddles

The project aims to create horse riding saddles with a new type of material in order to further expand the range of products as well as the target markets.
On the end user-side, the saddle must provide adequate cushioning during riding, so the product requires the material to allow for well-established flexures to support certain stresses, and this requires the right balance between elasticity and strength. Experimentation led to obtaining a suitable material that meets the requirements of the specific purpose of application. The new material and the know-how acquired by Formac during the project can also be a reference point and added value for the development of further projects, also in different areas requiring the same balance between high strength and flexibility.
