Self-extinguishing thermoplastic polymers
Formac Srl designs, engineers and produces an articulated range of self-extinguishing thermoplastic polymers which are mainly used in electrical and electronic applications. The most commonly used polymer bases are the various grades of nylon.
The self-extinguishing compounds of our production are compliant with standard UL 94. There are formulas that do not involve the use of halogens nor red phosphorus. Formac is equipped to independently perform, at its analysis laboratory, all flame resistance tests.
