Conductive thermoplastic polymers
Formac Srl designs, engineers and produces an articulated range of electrically conductive thermoplastic compounds.
Conductive thermoplastic compounds are used for the production of manufactured items that require the dissipation of electrostatic charges as protection against damage that could be caused by electricity.
The most commonly used polymer bases are various grades of PA and PP that are modified with the use of carbon black, graphite and carbon fibres. Formac’s conductive compounds are intended for use in all of those applications that require the dissipation of electrostatic charges up to ATEX environments.
