Study, development and testing of new polymer for the realisation of large automotive components
Formac has designed an easyflow version of its PA6 FV30 grade dedicated to the automotive sector. Our customer’s request was to preserve the excellent mechanical properties of the material already in use and to improve injectability given their need to print large-sized products with an X of more than 2,000 MM. The result obtained with Formamid Easyflow led to an increase in fluidity, a drastic reductionin moulding cycle times and exceptional aesthetics of the manufactured product. Another advantage of competitivity and environmental sustainability was the decrease in the operating temperature of the presses by more than 30° compared to the competing material, guaranteeing economic savings for our customer and lower consumption.
